The implementation of the training for the Act with MIS 5035159 that contributes to the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities based on a needs diagnosis beginsThe Panhellenic Federation of Dry Cleaners, Carpet Cleaners, Laundries, Ironers, Dyers and Related Professions (POSTPSBE) is the beneficiary of the Deed entitled “Training and certification of employees to acquire new knowledge, skills and abilities based on needs diagnosis» with code MIS 5035159, which is implemented within the framework of the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020» and is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund) and National Resources.

The objective of the Action is to obtain professional training and certification for 1,275 employees of the Private sector and the Economy, regardless of the sector or the company they are employed in, with the aim of acquiring new knowledge, skills and in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17024 which will significantly enhance the ability for their employment, the prospect of improving their employment conditions and their professional mobility to ensure the most favorable working conditions and adapt to the changes in the business environment.

POSTPSBEThe Practice focuses on training subjects that lead to knowledge and skills that can be used by all workers in all productive sectors of the economy as well as more specialized thematic training subjects.

Specifically, the project aims to provide continuing professional training to 1,275 employees of the private sector, in the following subjects:

  • Warehouse Management Executive,
  • Assistant Carpet/Upholstery Cleaner,
  • Laundry Assistant,
  • Management Executive – Manager of Organizational Culture and Time Management Systems (Time Management).

POSTPSBEThe duration of the training programs is 80 hours and they are to be implemented by certified training institutions, while the beneficiaries – workers of the Private Sector of the Economy, will participate in the knowledge and skills certification examination process. Participants in the certification process will receive a training allowance equal to €5.00/hour of training.

The first selected are informed by the contractor of the Training and Certification Sub-projects regarding the start of their sections.

The goal of POSTPSBE is to complete the training and certification for all 1,275 beneficiaries within 2023, maximizing the benefits from the implementation of the Act.
