Buenos Aires POLICE found Liam Payne’s hotel room “in complete disarray,” after the singer died in a fall from a balcony on Wednesday, authorities told PEOPLE.
Minutes before falling from the balcony, hotel staff alerted emergency services by reporting in a 911 call that the singer had “destroyed the room,” officials said.
On Thursday, law enforcement investigated his room and found the prescription drug clonazepam (brand name: Klonopin), energy supplements and other over-the-counter medications scattered throughout the room, along with “various broken items.”
