Over the next four years, Obermayr will build, deliver and assemble all road salt silos for Asfinag. These are used by road maintenance departments to store salt supplies for winter service.
“Our experience in the area of grit storage with almost 400 alpine silos built speaks for our product and the lasting quality for all users,” says company boss Bernhard Obermayr. To produce the silos, wood from local forests is used for the glued laminated timber and the required multi-layer panels.
Obermayr employs around 80 people and has been part of the Strabag Group since September 2023.
