Due to corona virus, the authorities have started the service of delivering ID cards to people’s homes, the service will start from today.

Kuwait‘s Public Authority for Civil Information has started the service of delivering civil identity cards to people’s homes from today. PACI has also released a video on its Twitter account with details.

Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information, Musaed Al Asosi, says that now citizens and foreign residents can easily get a civil identity card without visiting any branch, due to which the congestion in the branches is also quite low. will decrease.

He said that this new feature will save time and labor and also maintain social distance to preserve health measures and prevent the spread of corona virus infection.

The director said that the authority has entered into an agreement with a leading company for the supply of civil identity cards. The fee for a card delivery service is 2 dinars while delivery to the same address will be charged an additional 250 fils.

This service can be accessed through the card delivery website which will enable the process of application and issuance of civil card, the completed card will be delivered to the customer within 2 days from the date of handing over to the company.

Al-Asoosi added that the authority wants to ensure that the cards are delivered in a confidential manner in a sealed envelope bearing the authority’s logo. In order to obtain a new civil card, the company must provide the old civil card to the representative of the delivery company by authorizing the documents.
