A Malaysian pilot set up a noodle stall after losing his job due to the corona virus.
The corona virus has not only caused loss of human lives but has also brought major economies into crisis around the world.
Among the victims is the airline industry, which has been hit hard by the financial crisis as flights around the world were canceled for months during the pandemic, which forced airlines to lay off thousands of employees.
Among those out of a job is Malaysian pilot Azrin Muhammad Zawi, who was fired by the company during the pandemic and set up a noodle stall outside the capital to support his children.
According to media reports, 44-year-old Mohammad Zawawi used to leave home every morning wearing a pilot’s uniform, but now instead of going to the airport, he goes to his stall where he provides food to people.
Azrin sells Malaysian dishes at his stall, including a family-recipe kadi noodle dish, laksa and a mixed fruit dish known as ‘Rojak’, according to media reports.
Azreen said, ‘Face the challenge and don’t give up, it’s like flying an airplane.
Pilot Azrin hopes his experience can inspire people affected by the pandemic to try new ways to live.
