T20 winner Pakistan women team ready for ODI against South Africa

Pakistan women’s cricket team for the first time not only defeated the strong team of South Africa in the T20 series but also whitewashed them by winning all three matches of the series.

Pakistan lost the first match of the series which started on September 1 by five wickets, the second by six wickets and the third by six runs.

In this series, the Pakistani team performed many outstanding overall and individual performances. Twice in three matches, the Pakistani team managed to chase a score of more than 150 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team‘s biggest chase was 144 runs which they made against England in 2019.

Individually, three batters stood out in the series.

Sidra Amin scored a total of 133 runs while batting well in all three matches. Bisma was well-known at the second position, who scored 103 runs.

Alia Riaz also batted aggressively in two matches, especially in the second match where she played a prominent role in Pakistan’s victory.

In the next leg of the tour of the South Africa women’s cricket team, the two teams will play three one-day internationals.

Sindh Caretaker Sports Minister Dr. Junaid Ali Shah hosted a dinner in honor of Pakistan and South Africa women’s cricket teams in Karachi on Tuesday.

Former Test cricketer Moin Khan, former Olympian Islahuddin, Sindh Home Minister Brigadier Haris Nawaz, Turkish Consul General and Senior General Manager National Bank Stadium Arshad Khan also attended the dinner.

Moin Khan and Salahuddin congratulated the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team for winning the T20 series and wished them all the best for the ODI series.

In the event, the players were also presented with a gift while cultural music was also organized on the occasion.
