President Prabowo Subianto received visits from nine representatives of heads of friendly countries. The meeting was held at the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta.
“Today, nine (representatives of) countries came, their heads of state to the Palace or heads of government to the Palace to be welcomed by President Prabowo Subianto,” said Head of the Presidential Communications Office, Hasan Nasbi, in a press conference at the Presidential Office, today.
Hasan explained that Prabowo really appreciated the presence of a number of state leaders in Indonesia. He believes this meeting will improve Indonesia’s relations with the international world.
“This is also part of efforts to strengthen friendship between Indonesia and friendly countries,” explained Hasan.
The nine leaders of the country are Deputy Prime Minister of Australia Richard Marles, Minister of Foreign Affairs from the UK (England) David Lammy, Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand Winston Peters, Prime Minister of South Korea Han Duck-soo
Then there is also Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea James Marape, Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas, Vice President of Laos Pany Yathotou, and Vice President of China Han Zheng. (Bob/P-2)
