To confront organized crime that affects some areas of Argentinamainly to the city of Rosario, the Minister of Security of Argentina, Patricia Bullrich, reported that The Anti-Gang Law will be presented to Congress.
The news was announced during a press conference in said town, together with the provincial governor Maximiliano Pullaro and the Minister of Defense Luis Petri, the media reported. RT.
In recent weeks, crime in the region has increased, which is why the provincial and national governments are joining forces in order to counteract violence and drug trafficking. During his speech, Pullaro confirmed that they offer 10 million pesos (about $12,000) to those who have information about those responsible for four executions and a shooting that occurred last week in Rosario.
For her part, the security minister alleged that the country is facing “narcoterrorism.” “They began with narcoterrorist actions attacking citizens who are doing their job”he said, explaining that criminals respond violently and attacking innocent people after the operations that the security forces have carried out.

Patricia Bullrich highlighted that among the measures that the Anti-Gang Law promotes is the application of the Anti-Terrorism Law, which allows Armed Forces intervene in the middle of the conflictas well as the increase in penalties for the different crimes committed.
The minister alleged that part of this system is inspired by the legal reforms that have been applied in countries such as United States and Italy, and more recently in El Salvador by President Nayib Bukele.
The objective is to exterminate the mafias that live in the region. Money laundering and arms trafficking will also be attacked.
«We will send troops tonight to generate a saturation (of surveillance), we are going to work with special investigation teams to generate the map of the new criminal structure, the family tree of the gangs, to go after each one of them,” he added.
Maximiliano Pullaro pointed out that the purpose of these gangs is to create terror in the population, but he stressed that they will be the ones who will lose. “the control of their organizations by not having contact with the outside.”
Finally, the Minister of Defense Luis Petri assured that what is currently being experienced in the city is “a narco-terrorist onslaught (…) We are absolutely convinced that we are going to beat drug trafficking«,
