Bad weather claims a victim. The lifeless body of the missing person at the Box Office was identified by the fire brigade helicopter
Zocca, in the province of Bologna, after the car he was traveling in was overwhelmed by the flood of the Zena torrent during the night. In the evening it was decided to evacuate the area. Recovery operations are underway. The bad weather continues to affect the Peninsula from North to South today, with weather warnings and critical situations from Emilia Romagna to Tuscany to Sicily. In Bologna the Ravone torrent overflows: while the mayor and the municipality warn citizens not to leave their homes, the Civil Protection Operational Committee is underway at the Department to ensure the coordination of interventions in all the affected areas.

A Sunday characterized by rain and thunderstorms across much of Italy. The Civil Protection has issued an orange alert for various areas of Emilia-Romagna, Calabria, Veneto, Basilicata and Lombardy. Yellow alert in other areas of these five regions and eight others: Abruzzo, Campania, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Puglia, Tuscany and Trentino Alto Adige. Below are the details reported in the Civil Protection bulletin:

– Moderate criticality due to hydraulic risk/orange alert: Calabria: Central-Northern Ionian Slope, Central-Southern Ionian Slope, Southern Tyrrhenian Slope, Northern Ionian Slope, Southern Ionian Slope. Emilia Romagna: Reggio Emilia plain, Modena plain, Ferrara coast, Piacenza-Parma low hill, Romagna coast, Reggio Po plain, Bolognese plain, Romagna low hill and plain, Bolognese hill, Piacenza-Parma plain, Ferrara plain. Veneto: Basso Brenta-Bacchiglione and Fratta Gorzone, Alto Brenta-Bacchiglione-Alpone, Po, Fissero-Tartaro-Canalbianco and Basso Adige;

– Moderate criticality due to storm risk/orange alert: Basilicata: Basi-E2, Basi-E1, Basi-C, Basi-B Calabria: Central-Northern Ionian Slope, Central-Southern Ionian Slope, Southern Tyrrhenian Slope, Northern Ionian Slope, Slope Southern Ionian

– Moderate criticality due to hydrogeological risk/orange alert: Basilicata: Basi-E2, Basi-E1, Basi-C, Basi-B Calabria: Central-Northern Ionian Slope, Central-Southern Ionian Slope, Southern Tyrrhenian Slope, Northern Ionian Slope, Slope Southern Jonico Emilia Romagna: Lower hills of Piacenza-Parma, Mountains of Piacenza-Parma, Central Emilian hills, Lower hills and plains of Romagna, Bolognese hills Lombardy: Upper eastern plain, Lower eastern plain Veneto: Lower Brenta-Bacchiglione and Fratta Gorzone, Adige-Garda and the Lessini mountains, Alto Brenta-Bacchiglione-Alpone, Po, Fissero-Tartaro-Canalbianco and Basso Adige.
