The results of an autopsy carried out by Argentine authorities have found the cause of former One Direction member Liam Payne’s death.
Reporting from The Guardianit was stated that there was alcohol content in Liam’s blood. Apart from that, Liam’s body suffered from trauma wounds, external bleeding and internal bleeding which was thought to be the result of falling from the balcony of the 3rd floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last Thursday (17/10).
However, the injury that was the main cause of Liam’s death was a serious head injury.
Apart from being based on an autopsy, these results were also obtained based on an investigation into five witnesses at the scene of the incident by the local police in order to reconstruct the incident.
One of the guests staying at the Casa Sur Hotel, which was also where Liam was staying and was the location of the incident, said that the night before Liam died, he heard the sound of hitting and screaming several hours before Liam died.
Meanwhile, local police who were contacted immediately after the incident received reports of an aggressive man who was possibly under the influence of alcohol and drugs. It was later discovered that the person calling was the hotel receptionist.
Until now, the investigation of this incident is still ongoing.
Previously, Liam Payne was popular with the group One Direction, which was formed after participating in the British X Factor talent search event in 2010. One Direction is also considered to be the most successful new generation male vocal group after the presence of Westlife and Backstreet Boys.
