Indonesian mixed badminton doubles Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati are ready to strengthen their adaptation on the court ahead of the last 16 of the 2024 Denmark Open.

Rehan/Lisa, previously secured a place in the second round after recording a victory over Indian representatives Sathish Kumar Karunakaran/Aadya Variyath 21-19 and 21-15 in the last 32 of the 2024 Denmark Open, Wednesday (16/10).

“Thank God, we managed to get through today’s match. We felt that in today’s match we didn’t play well and weren’t optimal, we felt there was a difference in the shuttlecock from yesterday’s in Finland,” said Rehan, quoted from PP PBSI’s short statement.

“Even though we have practiced with the shuttlecock for the match here, we still have to adjust. So, we think our game today was not optimal,” he added.

In the last 16 of the Denmark Open, Rehan/Lisa will meet the fourth seed from Hong Kong, Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet.

“For tomorrow’s second half match, we want to be even more focused, play more freely and use all our abilities
have,” stressed Rehan. (Ant/Z-1)
