It is part of an international effort that seeks to strengthen law enforcement against tropical deforestation. The actions focus on critical points of deforestation and other crimes such as timber trafficking, drugs and smuggling, activities that threaten the conservation of the Alto Paraná Atlantic Forest.

The objective of this operation is to identify criminal networks involved in illegal logging and timber trafficking and promote the exchange of information between national and international agencies.

After several days of mentoring and planning, the operational phase began in Ciudad del Este, at the headquarters of the Eastern Naval Area, with the participation of several institutions, led by Interpol. Representatives of the Public Ministry and the National Commission for the Defense of Natural Resources (CONADERNA) were also present.
