According to the report of BBC, firing is going on between opposing factions in Shengak area of ​​Muqbal Panj Alizai. In the latest incident, four people have lost their lives yesterday, while the number of deaths within a week is said to be more than 20.

According to the police, motorcycle-riding assailants opened fire on people in fields in the border area of ​​Shengak, killing two people and injuring three others. Locals then chased the attackers, the police official said, and locals confirmed that two of the attackers were killed.

Dr. Syed Mir Hussain Jan, Medical Superintendent of the District Headquarters Hospital in Para Chinar, the capital of Karam District, said that two dead bodies and five injured were brought to the hospital yesterday and they are being provided with medical assistance.

It may be recalled that two people were injured in a shooting incident in the same area a week ago, after which an attack on passenger vehicles took place, in which fifteen people were killed and seven were injured.

Since the incident, the situation in the area has been tense, due to which Karam district has been cut off from land connectivity with Kohat and Peshawar for a week, and food shortages have occurred in the area.

There are reports that the Grand Jirga members and elders in Karam last day criticized the government and said that despite repeated firing and ceasefire agreements between different factions in Karam district, no steps are being taken by the government. The agreements made by the efforts of the Jirga are being implemented.

The chiefs of Hangu, Orakzai and Kohat were included in this Jirga. He said that there is agreement among Shiites and Sunnis on Murree agreement. These elders have said that where treaties are violated, the government should act, and if the government does not act, then the treaties are of no use.

Tried to contact District Karam Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud and District Police Officer Ahmed Shah several times, but no response was received.
