The new ball shook the world of cricket, ICC took an important decision

The monster of no-ball is raising its head during cricket matches, often a no-ball turns the match, during Pakistan’s tour of Australia it was also revealed that 21 no-balls were not given by the umpires during a match. . Now a big decision was taken by ICC.

It is happening for the first time in the world of cricket that the decision of the no ball will now be made by the third umpire i.e. the TV camera instead of the umpire standing on the field. The International Cricket Council has made this announcement in view of the mistakes made during the T20 played between India and West Indies.

According to the French news agency AFP, according to the statement released by the ICC, this trial will begin with the T20 match between India and the West Indies in Hyderabad.

The ICC said that during this trial, the third umpire will be responsible for watching each ball of the bowler and if the bowler bowls a no ball, the third umpire will inform the field umpire to declare it a no ball. It should be noted that if the bowler’s foot goes beyond the crease while delivering the ball, the field umpire declares it a no-ball and such a ball is called illegal and a score is awarded to the batting team.

During the Test match between Pakistan and Australia, replays showed that the umpire was unable to award the no-ball after 21 balls, which led to increased pressure on the ICC to adopt a new method of awarding the no-ball.

Earlier, Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed on the ball of Australian bowler Pat Cummins while the replay showed that the bowler’s foot was outside the crease. The ICC has said that after this trial, it will be assessed how effective the decision of no-ball by the third umpire is and whether it can be implemented or not.

The ICC had earlier launched a ‘decision review system’ under which players can challenge the umpire’s decision through replays, ball tracking, audio and heat sensing.
