They announce greater incentives for the purchase of electric and hybrid vehicles

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), together with the National Development Bank and Cadam, plan the implementation of greater benefits and facilities for access to credit for the automotive sector, seeking to promote sustainable mobility in the country.

In order to analyze and project several key points that contribute to the promotion of sustainable mobility in the national territory, the Vice Minister of Industry, Lorena Méndez, received the commercial manager of the National Development Bank, Amalia del Puerto, and the manager of the Chamber of Automotive and Machinery Distributors (Cadam), Diego Lovera, among other technicians in the sector.

During the meeting, the new promotions and preferential rates that will be launched were presented, aimed at facilitating the purchase of alternative combustion vehicles available to people.

In turn, these improvements are expected to generate a positive impact on both the automotive market and the strengthening of the environment, promoting the transition towards more sustainable transportation alternatives.

Vice Minister Méndez highlighted that this meeting with the managers of the BNF and CADAM was conducive to presenting and discussing the benefits that will be offered for the acquisition of 0 km vehicles, with a special focus on encouraging the sale of conventional, hybrid and electric vehicles.

We are talking about the development of a digital platform for the presentation of documents and expediting validation, which if all the documents are in order could already have an approval in 48 hours.

The aforementioned product will be presented at the new edition of the CADAM expo to be held. “With this we seek to encourage and increase confidence in electric mobility in our country.”

To conclude, Méndez highlighted that, from the MIC, as a member of the Strategic Council for Electric Mobility, they redouble their efforts to advance with joint actions that are truly effective, with both public and private sectors, as well as with academia and international cooperation.
