ColorOS 15 comes with several big changes, some of which might be said to be inspired by iOS, Apple’s operating system used for its devices, including the iPhone.

ColorOS 15 has new motion effects with fluid animations and several system-level optimizations that result in an 18 percent improvement in app responsiveness and a 26 percent faster app installation process.

OPPO also features system-level dynamic cache allocation that manages resources in real time and ensures smooth operation.

This China-based company also separates the notification display from the control center.

AI has an important role

Artificial intelligence (AI) plays an important role in ColorOS 15. XiaoBu Assistant can be called on any screen and users can have natural conversations with ongoing questions that match the content.

Oppo also features updated AI image processing with one-touch people and reflection removal, blur removal for portraits, and intelligent image enhancement features. Live Photos now supports electronic image stabilization (EIS).
