From today the applications for the Rural home

Applications for the programs begin today, Tuesday, June 6 of the OPECA Agricultural Center, and those interested will be able to submit the relevant participation applications to the KEPs of the whole country.

The programs of the Rural Center concern:

  • Social/ spa tourism: 53,500 beneficiaries
  • Children’s camp program: 1,500 children
  • Excursion program: 12,500 beneficiaries
  • Free provision of books: 130,000 beneficiaries
  • Free provision of theater tickets: 32,500 beneficiaries
  • Financial aid: 1,000 peasant mothers with many children and 4,000 peasant mothers with three children.

To submit the application for participation in the KEPs, they should provide:

1. Any document from which the Social Security Registration Number (AMKA) can be obtained, as well as of their protected members (e.g. health record or AMKA certificate) or any document from which the Social Security Registration Number (AM) can be obtained

2. Police ID card

3. In the case of pensioners of the OGA who have been subject to the e-EFKA and suffer from mental disability, DOWN syndrome or cerebral palsy, the notification of the result of disability certification or its decision is additionally required.

In detail, the seven (7) programs for 2023 are as follows:

1. SOCIAL TOURISM.

It concerns a 6-day holiday (5 nights) for 50,000 beneficiaries. Validity is from July 10, 2023 to May 30, 2024.

Specifically for North Evia, the following applies: Beneficiaries of the social tourism program who choose to use their vouchers in tourist accommodation contracted with LAE/OPEKA of the Municipalities of Istiaia – Edipsos and Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna of the Regional Unit of Evia are entitled up to eleven (11) days – ten (10) nights.

The following are eligible to participate in the social tourism program:

a) the pensioners of the e-EFKA (OGA) and the pensioners of the Uninsured Over-age Account of article 1 of Law 1296/1982.

b) e-EFKA (OGA) insured persons who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2022) of submitting the application for participation.

c) the members of the families of the above persons with the right to care deriving from a beneficiary of LAE/OPEKA benefits

2. SPA TOURISM.

It concerns a 6-day vacation (5 nights) and five simple baths for 3,500 pensioners. Those interested can make use of this program and related accommodations from July 10, 2023 to May 30, 2024.

In particular, the following applies to North Evia:

Beneficiaries of the spa tourism program who choose to use their vouchers in tourist accommodations contracted with LAE-OPEKA of the Municipalities of Istiaia-Edipsos and Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna of the Evia Regional Unit are entitled, along with the ten 10 nights, free accommodation up to ten 10 simple baths in legally operating facilities of thermal springs and hydrotherapy centers of the upper Municipalities of the Regional Unit of Evia.

The following are eligible to participate in the spa tourism program:

The pensioners of the e-EFKA (OGA) and the pensioners of the Uninsured Over-age Account of article 1 of Law 1296/1982

3. EXCURSION TOURISM.

It concerns four (4) day trips for 12,500 beneficiaries and always with contracted tourist agencies. Those interested will be able to make use of this program from July 10, 2023 to May 30, 2024.

Note: the 4 days of free excursions are valid as long as the cost of the excursion does not exceed the value of the ticket of 160 euros. Accommodation in rooms of two stars and above for hotels, three beds and above for rooms for rent.

Excursionists will be transported exclusively and only within the borders of Greece.

The following are eligible to participate in the excursion tourism program:

a) The pensioners of the e-EFKA (OGA) and the pensioners of the Uninsured Overage Account of article 1 of Law 1296/1982.

b) The insured persons of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2022) of the submission of the application for participation.

The members of the families of the above persons entitled to care deriving from a beneficiary of LAE/OPEKA benefits

4. CHILDREN’S CAMPS.

It concerns a 16-day program for 1,500 children who are beneficiaries of the Rural Home.

The children’s camp program is valid from: 22-6-2023 to: a) 31-08-2023 (final date of departure from the camp) for children of typical development and b) 10-9-2023 (final date of departure from the camp) for children with disabilities with a percentage of 50% or more.

EXCEPTION: For participation in the children’s camp program, the application must be submitted online at www.opeka.gr/agrotiki-estia/ilektronikes-ypiresies/ from June 6, 2023 until June 12, 2023.

The following are eligible to participate in the children’s camp program:

a) Children aged 6 to 16, who are children of pensioners or insured persons of the e-EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2022) of submitting the application for participation.

b) Children aged 6 to 16, as long as they receive an orphan’s pension or a paraplegia – quadriplegia allowance from the e-EFKA(OGA). The date of reaching the age of 16 is considered to be December 31 of the year 2023, regardless of the month of birth.

The above persons have active insurance capacity, and the children have the right to care deriving from being a beneficiary of LAE/OPEKA benefits.

5. FREE BOOKS.

The program concerns 130,000 beneficiaries, who can purchase books of their choice with a total value of 20 euros for each beneficiary and 30 euros for each beneficiary’s child, from contracted bookstores and publishing houses throughout the country. The validity of this program is from July 10, 2023 to May 30, 2024.

Eligible to participate in the free books program are:

a) The pensioners of the e-EFKA (OGA) and the pensioners of the Uninsured Overage Account of article 1 of Law 1296/1982.

b) The insured persons of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2022) of the submission of the application for participation.

The members of the families of the above persons entitled to care deriving from a beneficiary of LAE/OPEKA benefits

6. FREE THEATER TICKETS.

The program concerns 32,500 beneficiaries for theatrical performances in all the major cities of Greece. Validity is from July 10, 2023 to May 30, 2024.

For each ticket, the company is subsidized with an amount of up to 15 euros for the Main Stage and with an amount of up to 12 euros for the Children’s Stage.

Eligible to participate in the program for free theater tickets are:

a) The pensioners of the e-EFKA (OGA) and the pensioners of the Uninsured Overage Account of article 1 of Law 1296/1982.

b) The insured persons of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2022) of the submission of the application for participation.

The members of the families of the above persons entitled to care deriving from a beneficiary of LAE/OPEKA benefits

7. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO FARMER MOTHERS WITH MULTIPLE AND THREE CHILDREN.

The program is aimed at 1,000 mothers with many children who will receive an aid of 1,000 euros and 4,000 mothers with three children who will receive an aid of 700 euros.

Eligible to participate in the program are:

Mothers of three children and mothers of many children retired or insured of the e-EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2022) of submitting a participation application.

Conditions: Mothers with three children must have 3 children, and mothers with many children must have at least 4 children, who must be single and unemployed and not over 18 years of age, or 19 years, if they continue their studies in high school education, or in the 24th year if they are studying in Greece in higher or higher education, or are studying in the “Post-high school year – Apprenticeship Class” of Vocational High Schools (EPA.L) or Vocational Training Institutes (IEK), or be children with a percentage disability of 50% or more, regardless of age. The date of completion of the 18th, 19th and 24th year of age is considered to be December 31 of the year 2023, regardless of the month of birth.

DRAW

After the processing of the applications and if their number exceeds the number of applications provided for in the LAE / OPECA Programs, a lottery follows with an electronic procedure. The distribution of beneficiaries is done proportionally in all prefectures, with priority to those that have not been drawn in the last three years. Beneficiaries are informed about the result of the lottery through the OPECA website (www.opeka.gr) or through the KEP.
