The band consisting of Fajar Sidik as vocalist and Alfonz chose the name Alecta which means honesty in Greek. This name reflects our hope to convey work that is authentic and known to the wider community.
Alecta Band started from a hobby of playing music together, which then developed into a desire to create meaningful works.
The single Remembering You Hurts Me was written by Fajar, telling the story of a friend who has high hopes for his life partner.
This song describes the struggle between love and heartache, when reality does not always live up to expectations, making love feel like a painful escape.
With the presence of this single, Alecta Band hopes to provide a new color in the Indonesian music industry.
