OUR COMPANY

Toulouse Football Club, owned since July 2020 by Redbird Capital Partners, is a football club created in 1937. In less than 4 years, the Club has won the 2021-2022 French Ligue 2 BKT Championship as well as the Coupe de France 2022-2023 and participated in the UEFA Europa League with notable victories (Liverpool at the Stadium in particular) and a 1/8th final against Benfica Lisbon. Last season the club finished 11th in Ligue 1.

YOUR MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

With the support and accompaniment of the Head of Merchandising, to whom you report directly, your mission is to structure, define and animate the club’s product offering, to meet our challenges of business development and brand elevation, in respect for its values ​​(creativity and high standards) and its positioning.

1) Construction of Nike ranges:

You are responsible for creating ranges covering sporting needs (professional group, training center, association) and commercial needs (own retail, online, wholesale in particular)
You share, sell and align your approach with the various sports and business contacts
internally while respecting budgetary and time constraints.

2) Development of “unbranded” TéFéCé ranges:

You are responsible for creating ranges that complement Nike ranges and represent business development opportunities for the club in our various distribution networks.

3) Development of the Licensing business:

You define the license development strategy in collaboration with the Head of Merchandising.
You establish and implement the product distribution strategy (physical and digital)
You manage the relationship with external service providers involved in merchandising

4) Animation of the Commercial calendar:

In conjunction with the existing brand activation calendar, you identify opportunities, build, share and animate the commercial merchandising calendar. You work closely with the Marketing-Communications teams.

5) Performance management, reporting and optimization:

Definition, animation and recurring sharing of activity KPIs relating to the following themes: sales performance, profitability, assortment and inventory management, range renewal.

6) Competitive monitoring

You listen to market trends, you anticipate opportunities, within and outside our industry, to always offer products that meet the expectations of our supporters.

OUR IDEAL PROFILE

If you have an entrepreneurial profile, if you are capable of having a strategic vision and a real operational dimension in a start-up spirit, then we are interested in you!

Below are some of the criteria that will make you a unique candidate:

– Experience: 5 to 7 years minimum in the sports industry (clubs, federations, equipment manufacturers).
– Product Expertise: perfect mastery of range construction dynamics and commercial cycles in the sports sector.
– Licensing: first experience in managing licensed product ranges.
– Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze business performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
– Knowledge of the sector: Mastery of the challenges of the sports market and derivative products, particularly in terms of distribution and sales.
– Negotiation skills: Solid experience in managing commercial relationships.

YOUR WORKPLACE

Administrative offices of the Toulouse Football Club, and occasionally at the Toulouse Stadium.

THE PROPOSED CONTRACT
Permanent contract – As soon as possible.

Fixed package + motivating variable – To be defined according to the candidate’s profile and experience.
