Zakharova touched on an investigation conducted by Danish journalists published on September 26, which stated that John Anker Nielsen, captain of the port of Christianso, discovered a group of unidentified ships in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark a few days before the “Nord Stream” line explosions.
The captain stated that the ships were parked there with their transmitters and receivers turned off and not responding to requests to identify themselves, so he decided to head to the area with some of his subordinates to investigate the matter. As they approached the place, it became clear that they were American warships. After that, the leadership ordered them to return.
The captain of the port of Kristianso Island (located on the archipelago of the same name, 18 km northeast of Bornholm) confirms frankly and publicly that over the past two years he was forced to remain silent about what he saw on the eve of the explosion.
The captain stressed that they asked him not to discuss the issue and to remain completely silent.
“Look closely: Less than a week before the explosion, the US Navy was secretly operating (with its transponders turned off) in Denmark’s exclusive economic zone,” Zakharova said. Zakharova noted that when the RT Now channel reported John Anker Nielsen’s testimony in the form of a retelling, the Danish media again accused the Kremlin of carrying out a “disinformation campaign” and “propaganda.”
