Indonesian badminton men’s DOUBLE Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto admit that they will finalize their adaptation on the court, especially regarding the speed of the shuttlecock, in the last 16 of the 2024 Denmark Open, Thursday (17/10).

“In the first round of the Denmark Open, we were still adapting a lot, because the shuttlecock we used was quite different from the one we used
yesterday worn at the Arctic Open. “So, today, we are still trying to adapt,” said Rian, quoted from PP PBSI’s brief statement.

Fajar/Rian, who were seeded sixth in the tournament, will meet the Taiwanese pair Fang-Chih Lee/Fang-Jen Lee in the last 16 of the BWF Super 750 tournament.

The reigning All England champion secured a place in the second round after recording a win over German pair Bjarne Geiss/Jan
Colin Voelker 21-12 and 21-18 in the first round, Wednesday (16/10) local time.

“Alhamdulillah, thank God, the match went quite smoothly and we won in the first round of the 2024 Denmark Open,”
said Dawn.

“Hopefully this victory can continue into the next round,” he added. (Ant/Z-1)
