Khyber: Case of missing citizen registered after 15 years on court order

Ghulam Muhammad had approached the Islamabad High Court to register a case of his son’s disappearance, which ordered the registration of the case yesterday and directed the federal government to pay Rs 30 lakh as compensation to the father of the abductor. .

During the hearing of the case, the Additional Attorney General appeared on court order, who was directed to ensure the implementation of the orders of the Commission on Enforced Disappearances in the case by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defense and the Defense Secretary.

The case was adjourned till August 1, 2024.
