Time to start getting the flu shot, a vaccine that seniors, young children, pregnant women and people with chronic illnesses should get right away.
“It’s time to do the vaccinations. As every year, the vaccination committee has drawn up the recommended vaccines for 2024-2025 this year, which compared to last year have some differences,” specialist pathologist Kostas Stavropoulos pointed out to Mega and the show “Society Hour MEGA”.
The doctor emphasized that cases of coronavirus have already started to appear, specifically mentioning that “vaccines against coronavirus and influenza should be given without any hesitation”.
“The hesitation towards vaccines, especially the coronavirus, is a global issue, not only in Greece,” he explained.
Experts estimate that an increase in flu and coronavirus cases is expected during the New Year period.
