Carla Bruni, Kate Moss and her daughter Lila, Bella and Gigi Hadid… The fashion angels parade for Victoria’s Secret

The Return of the Angels: Carla Bruni Takes the Runway by Storm

Well, well, well! What do we have here? The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is back, and it seems they’ve enlisted the help of none other than Carla Bruni! Yes, that Carla Bruni—the singer, model, and former first lady who’s decided that at 56, life isn’t over, it’s just getting started! Frankly, I’m already taking notes—if sounding posh and strutting in lace was my forte, I’d be in trouble!

Carla made her grand entrance donning an ensemble so black and lacy that it could only be described as “a call for all vampires to unite.” The look featured a lace jumpsuit paired with a corset that could probably double as a medieval torture device if need be. Oh, and those famous angel wings? If they were any more extravagant, a cabaret show would sue for trademark infringement!

“Thank you so much, Victoria’s Secret, for giving me new wings at my ripe age,” she proclaimed in an Instagram post. At this rate, I’m convinced that her next album will be titled “50 Shades of Bruni” – or at least, it should be!

Generational Fabulousness Under One Roof

But Carla wasn’t the only surprise guest. Fashion icon Kate Moss sashayed down the runway, looking like a black lace-clad deity reborn. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more fabulous, enter her daughter, Purple Moss—yes, you heard me right, Purple—decked out in powder pink lingerie with accessories that looked like they came straight out of a music video from the ’80s. If that name doesn’t scream runway royalty, I don’t know what does!

The evening’s pièce de résistance? Tyra Banks, ladies and gentlemen! After an 18-year hiatus, she returned to the catwalk with all the grace of a gazelle and a jumpsuit that had more sparkle than my spectacularly sad dating life. Cloaked in a black jumpsuit and metallic corset, she had everyone pondering whether she’d bestowed her cape upon a fashion disaster or if an alien race had invaded Earth.

The Musical Extravaganza

And let’s talk about the soundtrack, shall we? When you have Cher belting out classics like “Believe,” it’s hard to maintain any semblance of normalcy. The real question is: Is she voicing an angelic solo or calling out to her next fashion venture? South Korean pop sensation Lisa of Blackpink also graced us with her talents, captivating the audience with her electrifying presence. If there’s one thing we learned that night, it’s that these ladies could probably make a rock out of a piece of soggy bread!

The Hadid sisters, Gigi and Bella, strutted their stuff, giving the crowd a serious case of wing envy. They opened the show with massive pale pink wings that probably required a small team just to carry around. I can see future fashionistas beginning to ask, “Excuse me, do you do wing fittings?”

Conclusion: A Show for the Ages

So there you have it, folks! Victoria’s Secret has returned not with a whimper, but with a full-on, five-star extravaganza, cementing the idea that angels—and the legends that inspire them—come in all forms and ages. Just remember, the only thing more blinding than those wings at the show was the fierce, unrelenting spirit of the women walking down that runway.

Stick around, because if this comeback is anything to go by, we’re in for a thrilling ride—and who knows? Maybe I’ll be next on that runway, though I might need to borrow those wings and a lot of confidence first!

Until next time, keep it cheeky and fabulous!

The Angel of the evening was her: Carla Bruni, surprise guest at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. For the first time, the singer, model and former first lady walked the podium for the lingerie brand which was making its comeback after six years of absence, controversies and internal changes. The objective? Breathe new life into a brand whose image had aged poorly. So, we had to offer a grandiose event, with a five-star cast that brought together all generations.

For the occasion, Carla Bruni paraded in a black look composed of a lace jumpsuit, a black corset with a bustier neckline, matching panties, open pumps with black and silver high straps, a sparkling nod to her voluminous earrings. Naturally, she wore a pair of famous angel wings that looked like a cabaret accessory, with a heart-shaped structure decorated with fringes. “Thank you so much Victoria’s Secret for giving me new wings at my ripe age,” rejoiced the 56-year-old model in the caption of a video posted on her Instagram account.

Young premiere and legendary angel

Carla Bruni wasn’t the only “supermodel” to walk the catwalk: fashion icon Kate Moss was also there. She also made her debut for the brand, adorned with a look total black in lace. His daughter, Purple Mossfollowed in her footsteps, in a set of powder pink lingerie accessorized with a chain, body jewelry, and a thickly fringed jacket of the same shade. As wings, the daughter of Kate Moss and the journalist Jefferson Hack22, wore a signature metal frame – literally, with her full name at shoulder level.

The other star of the evening was undoubtedly Tyra Bankswho had not walked the catwalk since 2005 and his last Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She made her return in an imperial appearance, wearing a black jumpsuit with a metallic corset, adorned with a cape with silver mosaic details.

The Hadid sisters, Bella et Gigi (who opened the parade with huge pale pink wings), were also there, as well as Vittoria Ceretti et Eva Herzigová.
