Health regions of Amambay and Chaco receive medicines for G. 2,329 million

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Health distributed medicines and supplies for the departments of Amambay, Boquerón and Alto Paraguay for G. 2,329,827,915.

The lots will be distributed to Hospitals, Health Centers and USF to meet the needs of users in the districts of these regions.

The shipment corresponding to the XIII Health Region, Amambay, is valued at 1,108,693,413 guaraníes and includes supplies and medications to treat chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular conditions, including enalapril, amlodipine, metformin, glimepiride and atorvastatin.

It was also supplied with analgesics, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories for both adults and pediatrics and medical supplies for all users who go to the five districts of the department of Amambay.

The department of Boquerón received a batch for G. 588,226,482 guaraníes and the department of Alto Paraguay for G. 632,908,020, which include essential medicines for the treatment of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular conditions, as well as analgesics, antibiotics and medical supplies.

These medicines and supplies will be distributed to all health services in both departments, guaranteeing the availability of these resources to meet the needs of the population.
