Woman reaches into the cash register, lashes out and resists – OberpfalzECHO

The Not-So-Subtle Train Station Hijinks in Schwandorf

Ah, Schwandorf, home to delightful Bavarian charm, and apparently, some of the most unruly patrons you could imagine. Picture this: a bustling train station one Thursday evening—everyone’s calmly waiting for their trains, all settled in like good little passengers. And then, out of nowhere, a 44-year-old woman from the surrounding district, currently residing in a psychiatric clinic, decides that a quick dip into the cash register is the perfect way to spice up her day! Who needs a ticket when you can grab some cash, right?

The Great Cash Heist

The day began innocently enough, but as they say, the best-laid plans often go awry. Our aspiring thief waltzes into the DB store under the sugar-coated excuse of wanting to buy something. And what does she snag? A cool €110. That’s a hefty sum for buying a ticket or, let’s be honest, a handful of gummy bears and a soda! Unfortunately for her, the cashier had other ideas. When asked to return the stolen euros, she didn’t—classic case of ‘it’s mine now’—but instead lashed out and kicked our poor cashier! Talk about a kick in the cash register!

When Police Meet Persistence

Fast forward to the arrival of the police, who probably thought they were just going to assist with a minor theft. Surprise! The woman had calmed down, but once she was denied access to her handbag—keeping in mind it housed a KNIFE—she delivered an arm strike that wouldn’t make her a hit in boxing. And let’s just say, she wasn’t playing fair: insults flew like confetti at a New Year’s Eve party, with a delightfully—not-so-nice—vein of creativity. You know you’re in trouble when four officers are needed just to draw blood, and we’re not talking about the metaphorical ‘draining of souls’ here!

Caught in the Act

The story takes an even crazier twist: our star was on a court-ordered alcohol and drug ban. So not only was she trying to score some mad cash but was also an absolute no-show at sobriety school! After her little escapade, she was taken to the hospital—because apparently, that’s where the mischief-makers go to regroup. Imagine four police officers wrestling with this lady while attempting to collect a blood sample. That’s not just a scene; it’s a full-on comedy act straight out of a police sitcom!

Consequences Coming in Hot

What’s our hero facing after this grand performance? A buffet of legal troubles: robbery, assault, resistance against law enforcement, bodily harm, and a sprinkle of insults. It seems someone’s got a full plate of criminal charges! Perhaps they should consider a career in stand-up comedy instead—great material here, folks!

All in all, this charming escapade at the Schwandorf train station reminds us that not all heroes wear capes; some just try to rob shops while juggling their chaotic lives. Here’s hoping she finds her footing—maybe not at the local DB store, but perhaps in a form of therapy arts and crafts class where all difficult emotions can be expressed, preferably with stickers and glitter pens!

Stay safe, Schwandorf! And remember, if you’re at the train station, limit your interactions with both cash registers and peculiar characters bearing knives!

Schwandorf. A police patrol was called to the train station around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. There, a 44-year-old woman from the southern district of Schwandorf, who is currently in a psychiatric clinic in Upper Bavaria, quickly reached into the register of the DB store under the pretext of wanting to buy something.

The woman took several banknotes worth 110 euros from the cash register and put them in her pocket. The cashier asked her to return the banknotes. But she didn’t do that. Rather, she lashed out wildly and kicked the cashier. Then she threw the money on the ground.

When the police patrol arrived, the woman had calmed down. But when she was denied access to her handbag, which contained a knife, she hit an officer in the arm. Now she was ordered to be tied up, which she resisted massively, and she also insulted the officers with countless insults that went deep below the belt.

Four police officers to draw blood

A search revealed that the woman was subject to a court-ordered alcohol and drug consumption ban. Because of this and because of the attack on the police officers, the public prosecutor ordered a blood sample. The woman was taken to the hospital.

On the way there and while the blood was being taken, the woman continually defended herself and insulted the officers. When the blood was taken, four police officers were needed to keep the unruly lady under control. After the blood sample was taken, the woman was taken to a specialist clinic because she was a danger to others.

She now expects several criminal proceedings for robbery, assault and resistance against law enforcement officers, bodily harm, insults and for violating instructions from the management supervision.
