The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin, held a farewell ceremony with all the staff of the Vice President’s Secretariat (Setwapres) at the Setwapres Auditorium, Vice President’s Palace, Jakarta (17/10).
At the event, the entire Vice Presidential Secretariat staff was present, consisting of civil servants and expert staff and special staff. Based on the monitoring of Media Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin and wife Wury Ma’ruf Amin arrived at the location of the farewell at 10.03 WIB.
The Vice President and his wife wore batik together. The invited guests were also seen wearing typical Indonesian batik.

An emotional atmosphere surrounded the event. The event, entitled farewell, began with remarks from the Head of the Vice President’s Secretariat, Ahmad Erani Yustika.
The event also featured a video of Ma’ruf Amin’s journey as vice president, starting from the Covid-19 period, to serving in Papua.
“This is my least favorite event. Because this event indicates that we will separate. The end of my service as wqpres. “But that service never stops, because that’s what the religion dictates,” said Ma’ruf in his farewell speech, at the Vice Presidential Secretariat Auditorium, Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta (17/10).

“But this day will definitely come. It’s just that it feels hard, in fact we are working well, fighting together, while we enjoy a harmonious and enthusiastic working atmosphere. “At that time we had to separate,” he added.
Ma’ruf also expressed his gratitude to all parties who had helped him so that he could become a vice president who served well.
“Therefore I am very grateful, because this is everyone’s work. Collaborate and work together. So that it produces extraordinary results.
“I ask that this spirit be maintained,” explained Ma’ruf.

“Because our service is not to a person but to the nation and state,” he added.
Ma’ruf said he still needed the enthusiasm of all his staff.
