PRESIDENT-elect Prabowo Subianto provided ministerial candidates by bringing in political and conglomerate experts from the United States (US), economic experts from South Korea and two foreign media experts.
Responding to this, senior researcher at the Political Research Center of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Lili Romli, said that there are also many experts in Indonesia.
“However, it turns out that there are also many experts in Indonesia, which is not good either. Who else is willing to give the opportunity and admit if it is not us as fellow citizens, it is not good either,” said Lili Indonesian MediaWednesday (16/10).
“Who else wants to give this opportunity and acknowledge it if not ourselves as fellow citizens,” he added.
Lili explained that in fact there was no problem bringing in experts from abroad if there were no experts needed in Indonesia.
According to him, Indonesia must not close itself off, it must be open to ideas and concepts from outside experts if the aim is to absorb their knowledge for the progress of the nation and state.
