Establishment of Federal Constitutional Court was the dream of Quaid-e-Azam, Bilawal – Pakistan

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the establishment of Federal Constitutional Court was the dream of Quaid-e-Azam.

Bilawal Bhutto on Saturday shared a thread on Twitter with references, in which he claimed that the establishment of a federal constitutional court was the dream of Quaid-e-Azam, who first proposed a federal constitutional court.

Bilawal said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah presented the details of the Federal Constitutional Court for the first time on October 27, 1931 at the Round Table Conference held in London, his proposal is almost identical to the proposal presented by the People’s Party.

Decision to make a consensus draft on constitutional amendments by keeping the drafts of PPP, PML-N and JUI in front.

He added that it was Quaid-e-Azam’s solution to reduce the unnecessary burden on the courts due to the wide jurisdiction given to them, Quaid-e-Azam’s proposals were later similar to the German Basic Law of 1949. which established the Federal Constitutional Court.
