Calabash Pavilion announced its closure! This time-honored sweet shop in Kwun Tong has been in business for more than 40 years and is famous for its ginger juice and milk. However, it announced its closure in February this year. In March, it found a willing partner and continued to operate, but it closed again six months later.

In March, I met someone who wanted to help me and graduated again after half a year.

Calabash PavilionAtIt started in Mong Kok in the 1980s and moved to Kwun Tong’s long-established Gourd Hall more than 20 years ago. It has been running a family business. In February this year, he said on Facebook that “the small shop is run as a family, it’s time to retire.” Later in March, he said: “I found someone who is willing to take over the gourd shop, and the name can be continued.” But unfortunately it closed again six months later.
