Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting, district courts also announce holidays – Pakistan

Ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, holidays have been announced from October 12 to 16. Meanwhile, orders have been issued not only to close halls, cafes, restaurants and snooker clubs in the twin cities, but holidays have also been announced in the Supreme Court as well as in the district courts. There will be a public holiday in the twin cities on October 14, 15 and 16.

The SEO summit under the leadership of Pakistan is being held in Islamabad on October 16 and 17, in which the heads of various countries, including Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, will participate.

In view of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, holidays have been announced in the district courts of Rawalpindi. According to the notification issued after the approval of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Alia Neelam, the district courts of Rawalpindi will remain closed on October 14, 15, 16 due to Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
