ChatGPT plans to build a ‘secret AI device’

These reports of the partnership came in the same week that OpenAI announced that ChatGPT now has direct Internet access as well as the ability to ‘see, hear and speak’.

The addition of voice and image recognition tools gives virtual assistants like Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri creative artificial intelligence-like capabilities.

The internet connectivity feature has put it on par with other popular AI tools like Google’s ‘Bard’.

“ChatGPT can now browse the Internet to provide you with current and authentic information with direct links to sources,” OpenAI said in an announcement Wednesday.
