Sportsmarketing.fr went to the Plaza Athénée, avenue Montaigne (Paris 8th) to attend on Wednesday October 16 the “reveal” of the DS E-Tense FE25 from the DS Penske team, with this year German driver Maximilian Günther joining double champion Jean-Eric Vergne.
The presentation of this “Gen3 Evo” comes less than 3 weeks from the official tests of season 11 of the Formula E world championship which will take place from November 4 to 7 in Valencia.
Featuring a new design, a more aerodynamic body kit, four-wheel drive and a new powertrain developed by DS Performance, the DS E-Tense FE25 will be the major asset of the Franco-American team.
Now adorned with deep black and a few golden lines, the DS E-Tense FE25 also incorporates an all-new powertrain. Developed by DS Performance over two years, this concentrate of high-technology embodies the electrical know-how of the competition division of DS Automobiles.
To date, the objectives of the Franco-American team are clear: continue the solid performances in qualifying (DS Penske holds the record for front rows in season 10), improve the pace in the race, establish itself among the leaders of the series and achieve as many podiums as possible. After the official tests in Valencia which will launch season 11, the Formula E world championship will host 17 races scheduled around the world. The first round will take place in Sao Paulo (Brazil) on December 7, 2024.
