In recent days, part of Italy has seen high temperatures, with a heat that has a summer feel. But winter is now around the corner, with the usual question: when does the real cold arrive? The site’s experts answer MeteoGiuliacci.it: “The central part of October, until around the 20th of the month, will be characterized by anomalous heat. In short, a real October, with temperatures widely above normal and possible peaks of up to 30 degrees in the South and Islands. Then, in the last part of October, a sensational turnaround is possible”. And then? “Some projections see, after October 23-24, the possible descent of cold polar currents on the Balkans, with the partial involvement of our Peninsula, where a widespread and abrupt drop in temperatures would be observed and therefore the arrival of a cold”, the weather forecast.

However, a warning comes from the portal dedicated to the weather: “Even if this situation were to occur, it would not be a winter frost, but rather a flight forward towards late autumn scenarios, with temperatures typical of late November”.
