A distributor, complains that he was racially attacked by three people, who hit him on the head and shouted “dirty Pakistani, leave, go to your country” last Saturday (12/10) in Sepolia.

Mohammed Aslam reported the attack to KEERFA, saying: “I want the racists who hit me to be punished.”

“At the time of the rally on Saturday 12 October for the assassination of Mohammed Kamran I was in Victoria Square with other colleagues from WOLT and efood. I had forgotten my card at home and rushed to get it to withdraw money from a bank near the Rossignol bridge in Sepolia.

Near the bank, at junction one white car with three people violates STOP and stops dangerously close. When I tell him “you have to STOP” they start cursing me vulgarly. They followed me on Manitaki Street and at the intersection with Dyrrachiou Street, at a red light all three of them get down sharply and they attack me collectively as a packhitting me over and over in the face and head. They hit like boxers with iron fists in the eyes and head. All three wore black clothes and had short hair. Such was the fury of the blows that my WOLT helmet broke and came off my head.

They left. I was helped by people who called the EMS and the Police while I was covered in blood everywhere. I went to the Red Cross hospital, where they kept me for a day and gave me many stitches in my head, under my eyes and on my chin while I broke two teeth.

They were shouting “dirty Pakistani, go away, go to your country”, “black, what do you think you are?”. I have lived in Greece for 18 years, I am a worker. These days, we are on strike for our rights. We are humans not animals. I want the racists who hit me to be punished”, complains the distributor to KEERFA.

“We demand the arrest of the perpetrators and their punishment. No cover-up of their action by the same departments that torture immigrants to death,” says the Movement United Against Racism and the Fascist Threat (KEERFA),” which also released the photos of the injured distributor.
