The biggest celebration of sports tourism and wellness, the Navarino Challenge approaches and is expected to welcome for 12or year amateur and professional athletes of all ages and abilities. With the message “sport unites” the organization will host on October 18-20, over 60 actions in Costa Navarino, in hotels The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and W Costa Navarino and to Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros.
The historic bay of Navarino and the island of Sphakteria, the lagoon of Gialova and Voidokilia which are part of the Natura 2000 network, Niokastro and Paleokastro as well as Pylos, Chora and Koroni will be highlighted for another year and their images they will travel around the world through the actions presented by the Navarino Challenge 2024 program.

Top sports figures such as the Olympic gold medalist Lefteris Petrounias, the champion with three participations in Olympic Games Vasiliki Millousi, the Olympic champion and European champion Pericles Iakovakis, the European champions Kostas Katsouranis, Dimitris Papanikolaou, the Olympian and Eurobasket MVP Evina Maltsi, the volleyball player with the most titles Michalis Triantafyllidis, the EuroLeague legend and European champion Joe Arlaukas, the champion of Greece George Lazaridis, the champion Georgia Kaltsis and the champion Giorgos Hatzievstathiou they will be in Costa Navarino and through their actions they will introduce the participants to the secrets of each sport.

- For the first time, the Navarino Challenge collaborates with Joint Athens and its team led by Angelos Giakoumidis, offering a session that will include both theory and practice, on the subject of corrective exercise. The purpose is for the participants to understand how their body works and also to understand the causes of the most common pains in the waist and hips. Finally, to be trained in an exercise program of simple and comprehensive exercises, with the aim of redefining how they control their body

While the three days of events will close on Sunday, October 20, in the Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros with:

Run participants can still take part in the 21.1 km powered by The North Face routes crossing the beach of Voidokoilia and the lagoon of Gialova together with the Greek-American ambassador of Greek tourism Konstantinos Karnazis, the 10 km by the sea, the 5 km powered by Miele between olive trees and the 1km for children from 0 to 9 years old, from 10 to 14 years old and the 1km route.
