Romer Cuadrado arrives at Caribes via transfer from Navegantes

This Wednesday, October 16, Caribes de Anzoátegui announced that outfielder Romer Cuadrado joins La Tribu, after completing a change with Navegantes del Magallanes.

Cuadrado along with the young pitcher Leonel Sequera arrive in the eastern currency in exchange for Diego Castillo, a player with experience in the Major Leagues who now belongs to the Turkish team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

Otto Padrón, sports manager of the aboriginal ninth, pointed out that with the exchange they strengthen the roster with an experienced player and a promising native of Puerto La Cruz (Sequera) who will reinforce the pitching staff. This according to information in a press release.

It is worth noting that for Cuadrado it will be the third jersey he wears in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), after previously wearing the Leones del Caracas one and recently the Magallanes one.

The ranger participated this year in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB) with the Sultanes de Monterrey and the Guerreros de Oaxaca, where he averaged .241, with 18 RBIs, six home runs and 48 bases hit in 35 games.

Sequera comes from pitching in category A and in the Minor League Rookie (MiLB) with affiliates of the St. Louis Cardinals. He was 2-5 with a 3.76 ERA in 18 starts. The right-hander had 68 strikeouts in 79 innings, leaving a WHIP of 1.35.
