Before you start cleaning them, remember a few things
Be sure to turn off the lights before cleaning.
Remove the bulb or tube lights from the fitting and wait until they cool completely.
First consider how dirty they are and then decide if just wiping with a dry cloth is sufficient or if additional cleaning is required.
Use the right cloth for cleaning. A microfiber or cotton cloth works best to clean them.

Baking soda
Mix two teaspoons of baking soda with two cups of water. Dip a microfiber cloth in this solution and gently wipe the tube light or bulb. Be sure not to pour the solution directly onto the bulb – this can cause damage
Lemon and baking soda
If dirt or grease is heavy, try this method. Make a paste by mixing the juice of one lemon with two tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl. Take a lemon slice, spread the paste on it, and gently scrub the bulb. Once clean, wipe it off with a damp cloth and let it dry.
Liquid soap or detergent
Mix liquid soap or detergent in two cups of water. Dip a microfiber cloth in the solution, wring it out, and scrub away the grease. Then use a dry cotton cloth to wipe.
Vinegar
Mix a little detergent with a cup of vinegar. Soak a cloth in the solution and wipe the bulb with the cloth. Allow to dry completely before placing it back into the fitting.
Always remember to switch off the main electrical connection before starting cleaning for your safety.
