The prestigious Arctic Open 2024 badminton event entered the final phase today, Sunday (13/10). Five final matches for each number are ready to be presented, including the one played by Indonesia’s only representative, Jonatan Christie, in the men’s singles number.

Jojo, as Jonatan is known, had his turn to appear last in a series of final matches which took place at Field 1 of Vantaan Energia Areena, Finland. At that time, he will face the seventh seed from Taiwan, Chou Tien Chen.

Based on statistics from tournamentsoftware.com, Jojo’s chances of conquering Chou are quite big. Because Jojo is the fifth seed and has won 9 of 16 meetings with Chou.

At that time, Chou had just secured victory with a score of 21-12, 14-21, AND 21-10 after competing for 64 minutes.

The series of final matches for the 2024 Arctic Open will start at 12.00 local time or 16.00 WIB. Jojo, as the only Indonesian representative, will have his turn to appear last, while his first match will be between fellow Chinese representatives. (Z-1)
