There are multiple return programs to Spain, for Cubans with Spanish nationality, among other Latinos, from Andalusia, through the Canary Islands, to the Community of Madrid. But almost all communities offer these options to return to the Iberian country.

For example, in Andalusia, in cities like Seville, Granada or Córdoba, there is a program for the return of talent of working people. In Asturias, the Sumar Talento program, in the Canary Islands, Retorno del Talento, in Castilla y León, the return plan of Castilla y León, in Catalonia, the Aid to return plan.

Some requirements are: Having resided outside the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for a minimum period of three uninterrupted years immediately prior to the date of your return. Not more than one year has passed since the date of your return to Extremadura. Be registered and have effective residence in a municipality of Extremadura at the time of submitting the application.

“These aids are unique in nature, and no more than one can be requested per family unit,” they point out.
