  • Xiaomi will send an improved model of a handy pocket compressor to Europe
  • It offers significantly higher performance, you can inflate both the bicycle and the tire with it
  • It also boasts a longer endurance, it can handle 16 tires on one charge

During the summer holidays, Xiaomi showed a new pocket compressor. Model Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro is an improved version of the popular gadget, which officially reached the shelves of domestic stores. While it only saw its Chinese debut in August, now discovered on the manufacturer’s global websitewhich indicates a planned launch in Europe.

Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro is compared to its predecessor better perhaps in all respects (hence the nickname “Pro”). It boasts not only a longer battery life, but also significantly higher performance, with which it will take you much less time to inflate a car tire, bicycle tube or soccer ball. The manufacturer reports specifically 2.2x increase in speed a it can inflate an empty tire in 3.5 minutes.

One of the key strengths of the pocket compressor from Xiaomi, apart from the dimensions and the fact that uses its own battery a so you don’t have to connect it to the car batterythey are preset modes. They distinguish between a bicycle, an electric scooter, a motorcycle, a car and a ball, and of course they work with different pressure values. In any case, you can also set it manually, in the range from 3-150 PSI/0.2-10.3 bar. It is not necessary to monitor the compressor during inflationas it has an automatic stop function when the required pressure is reached.

On one charge battery with a capacity of 2,500 mAh the Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro is said to be able to inflate:

  • 138 size 7 basketballs
  • 30 soul road bikes
  • 16 car tires

Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro hit the Chinese market with a price of 299 yuan, which represents almost 1,000 CZK without tax. How much it will cost in the Czech Republic, if it even looks here, is not yet clear.

Xiaomi Takes Air Seriously: The Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Xiaomi has decided that inflating tires, bicycles, and soccer balls isn’t just a mundane chore anymore—it’s an opportunity for technological triumph! Buckle up, because the Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro is rolling its way to Europe, promising to be the inflatable savior we didn’t know we needed. Seriously, this thing sounds like it could inflate *my ego*—and that’s no easy feat!

More Air, Less Blow

First things first, this pocket-sized powerhouse claims a performance boost that’s about as exciting as finding out your favorite band is reuniting—2.2 times the inflation speed, to be precise! We’re talking about getting that flat tire back in business in 3.5 minutes. I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend less time huffing and puffing into pneumatic misfortunes and more time focusing on… anything else? You might even have time to contemplate *why* your bicycle tire got flat in the first place—overinflation? Vandalism? A personal vendetta against your cycling habits?

It’s Got Modes—And Not Just the Fashion Kind!

Now, here’s the kicker: this isn’t just some amateur jerry-rigged compressor that someone brought along to a barbecue after a few too many drinks. Oh no! This baby comes equipped with **preset modes** designed for various inflatables. Bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, and yes, even soccer balls—all have their dedicated settings. You can inflate it, and when you’re done, you might as well name it your personal air assistant. “Hey Compressor, inflate my car tire!” Next, you just sit back, watch it do its thing, and perhaps – if you’re feeling particularly cheeky – mock your previous compressor for being too rudimentary.

The Heavyweight Champion of Tire Inflation

And if you’re thinking it’s just all fluff, let’s talk endurance! With a mighty 2,500 mAh battery, this device is supposedly capable of inflating:

  • 138 size 7 basketballs
  • 30 road bike tires
  • 16 car tires

That’s right! It could have an entire basketball team bouncing around your backyard while you’re casually inflating your car tires. Let’s just hope they don’t all need air at the same time… that could be a logistical nightmare or a very entertaining afternoon segment!

The Price Is Right!

Launched in China at 299 yuan, which is roughly 1,000 CZK without tax, we’re all left wondering: what will it cost once it gets its well-deserved European debut? Given the track record of such gadgets, I reckon it will be priced at “whatever you’ll pay for convenience”—a classic marketing move that leaves the question hovering like an uninflated balloon.
