Features of the anti-missiles delivered by the United States to Israel

It is believed that some of these missiles are still in the possession of Iran and Syria, but Iran possesses the most modern missiles, which have a firing range of hundreds of kilometers.

It is noteworthy that all modern anti-air missiles explode when they approach a target to be intercepted, and it is destroyed by a large amount of fragments, but THAAD is the only anti-missile whose warhead does not have any explosives and must directly hit a missile that it wants to intercept, destroying it with the force of its mass.

Therefore, the THAAD missile was equipped with a continuity command system, an electronic computer, an electrical power source, as well as a DACS maneuvering and guidance engine that ensures accurate maneuvers of the missile on the trajectory.
