The long-time managing director Gerald Reisinger was awarded the Ring of Honor from the University of Applied Sciences and the Golden Medal of Honor from the state of Upper Austria. The President of the Fiscal Council and keynote speaker Christoph Badelt said that the universities of applied sciences would have to adapt to tight financial frameworks – but opportunities would arise with new elements of further training. Rabl replied that it was never easy, but the FH had proven that it could deal with challenging times. Perndl pointed out that young people were strengthened and that the FH was a foundation for the region.
