Deeply concerned about rising tensions and loss of innocent lives in Middle East: Pakistan

Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani says that Pakistan is deeply concerned about the growing tension in the Middle East and the loss of innocent lives. Jalil Abbas Jilani further wrote that it is necessary to establish a viable and independent Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders and in accordance with the UN resolutions.

In a statement on social media, caretaker foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jilani wrote that he stands in solidarity with the Palestinians in the current situation and demands an immediate end to the violence and oppression of the Israeli occupying forces.

Jalil Abbas Jilani further wrote that the establishment of a viable and independent Palestinian state is necessary in accordance with UN resolutions and based on the pre-1967 borders.

Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said that the international community should take steps to end the conflict and protect the citizens, the international community should intervene urgently for lasting peace in the Middle East.
