Construction costs further increased | Nachrichten.at

The costs for building residential buildings and settlements have risen by 4 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary data from Statistics Austria from today, Tuesday. Compared to the previous month of August, prices stabilized with a marginal decrease of 0.2 percent.

There were cost increases in all areas of civil engineering compared to the same month last year. The increase was 1.2 percent in road construction, 2.1 percent in bridge construction and 2.6 percent in urban water engineering.

Compared to the previous month of August, prices also eased in these areas – costs fell by 1 percent in road construction, and by 0.5 percent each in bridge construction and urban water engineering.
