MINISTER of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo claims that Indonesia’s sporting achievements have progressed significantly in the 10 years of President Joko Widodo’s leadership.
“You could say that President Joko Widodo’s ten years of leadership can be crowned as a president who went all out to advance sports,” said Dito Ariotedjo at the closing ceremony of Peparnas 2024 at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, as quoted from the official website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports which was monitored in Jakarta, Monday.
He said that sporting achievements in Indonesia had experienced a significant leap both at the national and international levels.

This achievement, he said, was demonstrated through various athletes’ achievements in events such as the SEA Games, Asian Games and the Olympics.
“We will see how the achievements in sports are achieved, the achievements are beyond expectations and have made history,” he said.
Dito said, apart from that, a number of sports facilities were also being built in various areas, such as several football stadiums which were renovated and followed FIFA standards.

Apart from that, training center facilities have also been built in Cibubur for the Olympics as well as Paralympic training center facilities in Karanganyar which comply with international standards.
This 33 year old minister believes that Indonesia’s sporting achievements in the next era of President Joko Widodo will be managed more optimally under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto.
