Islamabad High Court issued notices to General Retired Bajwa and Faiz Hameed

The Islamabad High Court has issued notices on the request to file a case in the FIA ​​against General Retired Bajwa and General Retired Faiz Hameed and others in the case of breaking the legal barrier after retirement and misrepresenting various events.

According to the media report, Chief Justice Amir Farooq has issued a written hearing order on the request of citizen Atif Ali. It should be started by filing a case against the parties.

It has also been stated in the petition that journalists Javed Chaudhry and Shahid Maitla have published two articles for fame, which had a negative impact on the society. The articles have been attached with the petition.

The petitioner’s lawyer said that the FIA ​​should be directed to register a case against General Retired Qamar Bajwa, General Retired Faiz Hameed, journalist Javed Chaudhry and Shahid Maitla.

It has been said in the filed petition that ‘General Retired Bajwa and General Retired Faiz crossed the legal and moral barrier after retirement by narrating various incidents in a wrong and fabricated manner, for which they have been convicted of a serious crime. FIA should register a case and take strict action.

The petitioner has made the articles written in the context of the meeting of journalist and columnist Javed Chaudhry and Shahid Maitla with Retired General Bajwa, as part of the application, saying that Javed Chaudhry and Shahid Maitla have written columns just for the attention of the readers. Write which has a negative impact on the society.

The petition states that the incidents described in the columns are an attempt to create distrust between the public and state institutions. Under the guise of freedom of expression, criminal behavior has come to the fore. Hence application was made for registration case but FIA did not take any action. The court should register a case and order immediate action.
