Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went there to see for himself what happened and, speaking with the military, assured that the Jewish State will continue to strike “mercilessly” against Hezbollah, “in all parts of Lebanon including Beirut”. Words that matched those pronounced by the Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant who, in a conversation with his US counterpart Lloyd Austin, underlined the seriousness of the attack by announcing a “tough response”.
Meanwhile, in the last few hours, Israel has carried out a raid for the first time on a village with a Christian majority in the Zgharta region in the north of the Land of Cedars. According to the Lebanese Red Cross, more than 20 people died. The target – explain the Arab media – would have been a high-ranking Hezbollah official. On the Lebanese front, tension with Unifil also remains high.
