Paytas reveals the latest developments in the medical students crisis and the employment file, and reaffirms the Kingdom’s position regarding the Lebanon and Gaza war

The Minister Delegate in charge of relations with Parliament and the official spokesman for the government, Mustafa Paytas, revealed the latest developments in the crisis of students in the faculties of medicine and pharmacy, indicating that the file is now in the hands of the Kingdom Mediator Institution, which works within the framework of the law on various issues related to the settlement.

Paytas explained in his speech during the press conference that followed the government council held today, Thursday, that “everyone is waiting for the outcomes that will be agreed upon or reached, and then it is better for us to discuss them.”

Regarding the employment file, the government official recorded that “the government expressed more than once that there is a need to have a new strategy to confront unemployment, which has risen for reasons that we are all aware of, including the decline of the agricultural sector in providing job opportunities in the rural world, and also the transformations that occurred in society following the adoption of… New policies linked to social policies and social support.”

Turning to the issue of the ongoing war in Lebanon and Gaza, Paytas stressed that “the Moroccan government condemns the war committed by the Israeli army in Lebanon and Palestine,” highlighting that the executive branch “has previously condemned what is happening at various levels, and this was in various statements and communications issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs.” Foreign Affairs.

The same spokesman stressed that “Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch stressed the Kingdom’s position in all the summits in which His Majesty the King was represented,” stressing that “the Moroccan position towards this war is beyond doubt.”

42,065 people were killed in the Israeli war that has been going on for more than a year, according to what the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Thursday, while 97,886 people were injured since October 7, 2023.

On the other hand, battles are taking place between Hezbollah and the Israeli army in border areas in southern Lebanon, while the army announced the implementation of new air strikes targeting the party’s sites today.
