In the third session of the ongoing test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, 202 runs have been scored for the loss of 5 wickets, but the match has been stopped due to low light.

In the match being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first, which proved to be correct till the opening session and the Sri Lankan openers performed well and provided a start of 96 runs. For Sri Lanka, Dimuth Karunaratne scored 59 runs while Oshada Fernando scored 40 runs, Kaushal Mendes scored 10 runs, Dinesh Chandimala scored 2 runs and Angelo Mathews scored 14 runs while Dhananjaya De Silva and Niroshan Dakvila are at the crease.

After the failure in the beginning of the game, Pakistani fast bowlers have shown the way to the pavilion for four players while returning to the game. On behalf of the national team, Naseem Shah guided two players to the pavilion, while Muhammad Abbas, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Usman Khan Shinwari took one wicket each.

It should be noted that Azhar Ali is leading the national team for the match while other players include Shan Masood, Abid Ali, Babar Azam, Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Rizwan, Usman Shinwari, Mohammad Abbas, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi.

The Sri Lankan team is led by Dimuth Karunaratne while the other players include Oshada Fernando, Kaushal Mendes, Dinesh Chandimala, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya de Silva, Neerushan Dikwela, Dilruvan Perera, Vishwa Fernando, Kisun Rajitha and Lahiro Kumara.
